At Mandi Guys, food is our way of bringing people together. Our story begins with Yemeni cuisine, a food culture built around hospitality, family, celebration, and sharing. At the heart of that tradition is mandi, a dish known for its fragrant rice, carefully seasoned meat, and slow cooking that brings out deep, comforting flavours.
When we brought Mandi Guys to Canada in 2018, we wanted to share more than a meal. We wanted to share a part of where we come from.
Today, Mandi Guys is a Yemeni and halal restaurant in London, Ontario, serving traditional favourites alongside dishes created for the way people eat today. From lamb and chicken mandi to madfoon, seafood, grilled dishes, wraps, and generous family platters, our menu is inspired by the flavours we grew up with and the traditions we continue to value.
Our Purpose.
We started Mandi Guys with a simple idea: make authentic Yemeni food accessible to more people without losing the traditions that make it special.
As we grow, that purpose stays the same.
We want to introduce more people across Canada to the flavours of Yemen, create welcoming spaces where people can gather, and build a food brand that remains connected to its roots.
Because for us, Mandi Guys is not just about serving food.
It is about sharing our culture, welcoming our community, and giving people a taste of home.

When we opened at 169 Wharncliffe Rd S, the goal was simple: cook this food the right way and serve it to London with the same hospitality it deserves.
Every dish that leaves our kitchen is made from time-honoured recipes, real spice blends, and halal-certified proteins. The rice absorbs the broth. The meat falls off the bone because it was cooked long enough, not because a shortcut made it look that way.

Every ingredient we use meets strict halal standards. Our proteins are sourced from certified halal suppliers. Our kitchen maintains full separation to prevent cross-contamination. We don't serve alcohol. We don't cook with pork-derived ingredients.
For our guests, Muslim families, halal-conscious diners, and anyone who cares about where their food comes from, this matters. And it should.
